The Royal Samoa Golf Course hosted the pre-Games test event recently.

Four events will be held, with medals awarded in individual and team events for men and women.

Prior to the Samoa 2019, New Caledonia and American Samoa teams took part in the Samoa Open at the same venue.

This was also when the final selections for the Samoan team were made. It will be interesting to see if their knowledge of the course assists them as they return to attempt to take home some medals.

Kristine Seko will be one to watch as the previous gold medalist at Port Moresby 2015 XV Pacific Games. Arianne Klotz won bronze in 2015 so will be one to watch as she strives to better her previous scores.

Ned Howard from Cook Islands will be looking to step up to win gold after taking home a silver medal at Port Moresby XV 2015 Pacific Games. However Soti Dinki is returning so the competition should be close.

Entry is free.
