Free, fresh water at all venues

There will be thousands of athletes, officials, volunteers and spectators at the  Samoa 2019 XVI Pacific Games over the next two weeks.

That's a lot of thirsty people.

A unique initiative means that around 250 fresh, cold, filtered water stations will be spread across the venues and everyone is encouraged to bring along reusable bottles and fill up, thanks to Games sponsors, Pure Pacific Water and Samoa Pure Water.

This is part of the 'Beautiful Samoa, keep it clean and plastic free' campaign and the ‘Greening of the Samoa 2019 Pacific Games' project.
