That’s the message from New Caledonia’s Mahina Charlot after beating Meheani Apeang-Bennett from Tahiti in the first round of the women’s flyweight 48-51kg division at the Samoa 2019 XVI Pacific Games Boxing tournament at Don Bosco College in Savai’i on Wednesday.

Fiji wins historic women’s rugby league 9s gold

Fiji won gold in the first ever Pacific Games women’s rugby league 9s competition, defeating a determined PNG team 16-4 in the gold medal match at Apia Park Stadium on Tuesday evening to claim the historic inaugural title. Cook Islands beat Samoa 24-10 to collect bronze.
